Love Letter

Hello!

Welcome to 4212 Suter Street! Sau purchased this house back in 2006 and instantly fell in love with it. The open living room/dining room area, spacious kitchen, and sliding glass doors leading to the expansive deck and inviting backyard made it easy to envision hosting dinner parties and intimate gatherings. In 2011, Paul moved in, and shortly after, we tied the knot. We have hosted numerous dinner parties, backyard barbecues, and wine tastings with our cherished family and friends. The kitchen, with its ample space, has accommodated multiple cooks, assistants, and guests who simply wanted to hang out and chat. It truly has been the heart of our home, while the dining room and back deck offered options for indoor and outdoor entertainment, depending on the weather.

The backyard has seamlessly served as an extension of our living space. The garden has provided us with solace, a peaceful retreat, a place to exercise our dog, a playground for our nephews, and a setting for morning brunches and sunset dinners. Our sunny garden has yielded an abundance of fresh produce, including carrots, squash, tomatoes, lettuce, potatoes, kale, cilantro, and a variety of herbs. The persimmon tree and cherry tree are beginning to be productive. We even kept chickens! During the COVID-19 pandemic, the backyard became the perfect venue for socially distanced gatherings. We will genuinely miss this remarkable outdoor space.

However, it's the community that has truly made this house a home for us. Throughout the years, we have forged meaningful friendships with our neighbors, who have become an extension of our family. These are the individuals we rely on, share laughter with, embark on vacations together, and celebrate life's milestones.

When we're not cooking at home, we thoroughly enjoy the neighborhood eateries, all conveniently located within a short walk. From Ghost Town Brewing, Degrees Plato, Vientien Cafe, Fist of Flour, Communite Table, Jo's Modern Thai, Everett & Jones Barbeque, to Phnom Penh, a delicious meal is never far away. Donut Savant and Peter's Kettle Corn have also become fun pit stops during our dog walks.

As our family grows, it saddens us to say goodbye to 4212 Suter. However, we sincerely hope that you will discover the same love, joy, peace, and sense of community that have filled our hearts over the years.

Sincerely,

Sau & Paul
